My cakes are made from whole natural ingredients and eggs from our own hens.  I put as much love and care into the inside as the outside.  Each cake is individually designed for you and the possibilities are endless. It is a true pleasure to be part of my clients’ celebrations.  I look forward to talking cake with you (and pie, and cupcakes, and cookies….)

I have been a chef for over 25 years and I have loved every minute of it.  I graduated from The New England Culinary Institute, cooked in France (including a stage at Le Balandre in Cahors) and was a chef in many wonderful restaurants.  About 18 years into my career,IMG_0125 I got married and started a farm and family.  To pursue my love of the creative culinary arts and to buy hay, I am creating hand crafted one of a kind cakes for special occasions.  My husband, son and I live on a wind-swept mountain top in Crozet, Virginia.  We balance growing food, loving each other, tending the sheep and enjoying cake!  Please feel free to contact me with questions or if you are having a celebration in the Central Virginia/Charlottesville area,  I would be honored to create a cake for you!
